Unlike other PC to phone free call softwares, iCall allows you to call any phone from any part in the world for free. However, there’s a catch. First, you can only use a number that is based in the US or Canada. Second, your call will be cut every 3 minutes. Don’t worry. You can still make another call to the same number. Just expect it to be cut every 3 minutes.
You will love this app because you can install it anywhere. It even has an app for iOS. This will allow you to make phone calls straight from your iPhone by simply utilizing the Internet.
Google Voice
Google Voice is an amazing application because it transcends PC to PC phone calls and allows PC to phone calls for free. This shows that the company provides more than just search. It can even provide free phone calls.
However, this is only free for people who live in the United States or Canada. Others have to content themselves with the other features such as free SMS, free conference calls and free voice mail. Calls are also limited to three hours. Any longer than that and it gets cut. Like iCall, you can always place a call to the same number. It just does not allow really long phone calls.
EvaPhone
If you need an application to make quick phone calls to any part of the world, then EvaPhone is sure to satisfy your communication needs. This application lets you make really short calls ranging from a few seconds to a minute on a flash-based interface. Although it is not advisable for people who want to make long conversations, its function cannot be denied. It is one of those applications that you can turn to in times of emergency. After all, it only allows you to make 2 calls a day.
